Lindsey Nelson, MD

Dr. Lindsey Nelson graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1998 and completed his anesthesiology training at the University of Cincinnati. He has over 20 years of experience in NIH and industry-sponsored research including working at the prestigious Schulze Diabetes Institute and being the assistant director of anesthesiology at the world-renowned Steadman-Philippon Clinic in Vail, CO.

Dr. Nelson most recently served as the Chief Quality officer and Chief Medical Officer at a national anesthesia service provider company. In all of these positions, he has given many medical lectures across the US and Europe. In addition, he has published many peer reviewed articles and written several book chapters in the medical field. His knowledge of looking at understanding the complexities of the different causes of pain has brought him to be extremely enthusiastic about treating diabetic neuropathic pain in a natural, newly discovered way that utilizes the body’s own healing mechanisms to actually reverse the damage caused by the high blood sugar levels. He is excited to be working with a chosen medical team that focuses on strengthening the patient with knowledge and support to be able to participate in their continued healing process.

Aileen McGoldrick RN, BSN

Aileen grew up in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania and earned her undergraduate degree at West Chester University and her nursing degree at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA in 2007.  She is certified in operating room nursing (CNOR) and spent 10 years specializing in orthopedic surgery with the Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO.  Most recently she was the research coordinator for a large study using cryoanalgesia as a technique to decrease the incidence of post knee replacement pain syndrome.

Aileen found yoga to be a very effective way to improve physical and mental health. She is a yoga teacher and certified in trauma informed yoga. Along with yoga, Aileen believes in approaching wellness through nutrition, movement and non-pharmaceutical means when appropriate. She is excited to be a part of the Diabetic Nerve Clinic and assist patients to decrease their debilitating pain from their diabetic neuropathy.
